1. The Dark Legionnaire - Update

There will be no February 2009 edition of the Dark Legionnaire. The next issue will be March 2009. I just don't have time to complete it
for February.
2. Promotions

3. Monthly Evaluations - February 2009
It is that time of month again for all people in leadership positions! Here is the time table:

4. The Hammer's Fist Medal Re-structure
Awhile back the Prefect of the Legion and Hammer's Fist Executive Officer finished up the new medal structure and received approval from

5. Leadership Appointments

6. Vengeance Platoon Close

Evening Troopers,
Upon authorization of the Prefect of the Legion, Lieutenant General Keth D'Jek, Vengeance Platoon is hereby closed. Members of Vengeance
Platoon are to be transferred to Redemption Platoon and placed in one of the three active squads, with Redemption 3 being re-opened under
the command of Lance Corporal Talos Arconae.
Please reply to this message if you are still interested in serving in the Hammer's Fist and you will be transferred ASAP. You may request
where you will like to be placed, but there is no garuntee you will receive that assignment.

1. Operation Cleansing Fire is going strong. It will conclude on Saturday, February 28th t 11:59PM (2359) EST. Website:
http://hfxo.fantasy-arts.net/op-cf. Gunnery Sergeant Mordred just completed the Black Fist Logo and it is beautiful! http://hfxo.fantasy-
arts.net/BlackFist_logo.jpg and he got a Cross of Obedience for it too!
2. Operation Fiery Obelisk will begin in March, hosted by the Commander of Operations, Brigadier General Baron. Starting date and details
pending.
3. The Dark Legionnaire was put on hold and will not be releasing a February 2009 Issue, but will be working on the March 2009 Issue.
4. Vengeance Platoon was closed down Friday, January 30th due to lack of activity and leadership. All remaining Troopers that wish to
continue to contribute to the Legion are being transferred to Redemption Platoon as we speak. Also this is an AWOL Check time issued by
the Prefect for Vengeance Only (so we can know who is still alive in that barracks).
5. Lance Corporal Miles Prower was appointed Redemption Platoon, Squad 1 Leader on Friday. Redemption Platoon, Squad 3 was re-opened with
Lance Corporal Talos Arconae (who reported last week for the Legion) being appointed as Squad Leader. With these two appointments the
Legion is now at 100% staffed leadership!
6. The Medal Restructure happened back in December 2008 and finally getting it released though major details, mainly descriptions (yes, I
know XO you wanted that done ages ago... I'm working it :P), are still missing. Hope to have that done by next week's report. You can

7. The Hammer's Fist Field Manual (v8) will hopefully be completed by mid-February and on the Desk of the Executive Officer for final
approval. A team headed by the HFXO are working on it now.
8. As reported last week Major General Zsinj is hacking away at the new website found at http://hf.atcontroller.com/newsite. THIS IS NOT
THE OFFICIAL SITE YET! Please continue to use http://hf.atcontroller.com/. Once finished the new site will be transferred to
http://hf.emperorshammer.org.
9. #Hammer's_Fist is fully registered with most Operators and Voices put into place. Update your Auto-Joins today! Thank you again to all
those that helped with the registration in providing CService Nicks, idling in the channel, and mainly our A:COMM, Vice Admiral Brukhar,
who worked very quickly with the General Staff to get it registered in a very timely manner and who also has my vote for full-time COMM!
10. HFXO (ME!) will be on Leave Of Absence from Thursday, February 19th to Sunday, February 22nd. Going to Las Vegas, Nevada for: 1)
Taking my US Border Patrol Exam and 2) Weekend get away with the wife. :D

8. Two Legionnaires Appointed to Emperor's Hammer Commander Staff
As announced at the Emperor's Hammer Weekly Meeting two our our own have been appointed to the Emperor's Hammer Command Staff:
Major General Zsinj, Commander of Internet Affairs, has been appointed Internet Officer and promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral (EHCS-
Only).
Gunnery Sergeant Mordred, Redemption 2 Squad Leader, has been appointed Training Officer and promoted to rank of Vice Admiral (EHCS-Only).
We congratulate both! Hopefully their new appointments won't affect their work here in rebuilding the Legion.

Hammer's Fist IRC Role Playing Game (Beta)

Details: Originally designed for the Mystics of the Black Sword (Emperor's Hammer Dark Brotherhood) it has now been brought to the Hammer's
Fist Stormtrooper Legion. It is designed based of the old West End Games' Star Wars Role Playing Game. It will use D(ice)6 unlike d20 of
Dungeons and Dragons (D&D). When it is done with the beta testing version it will be fully incorporated into the Hammer's Fist.

Details: With my recent appointment as [Executive Officer of the Hammer's Fist] I have been charged with the task of resurrecting The Dark
Legionnaire, Official Newsletter of the Hammer's Fist. At current the Dark Legionaire is the only newsletter active in the Emperor's Hammer
so we shall continue to lead the way. I'm looking for fiction, graphics, articles, or anything along that sort (see more here at
http://hf.atcontroller.com/HFFM/submit.php). The medals awarded are as such:
* Medal of Darkness - 1 Submission (MoD)
* Bronze Cross - 5 Submissions (MoD-BC)
* Silver Cross - 10 Submissions (MoD-SC)
* Gold Cross - 15 Submissions (MoD-GC)
* Platinum Cross - 20 Submissions (MoD-PC)
* Dark Cross - 25 Submissions (MoD-DC)
* For every additional 8 Submissions after 25 you will receive a Legion of Service (LoS)
FUNNY UNDERNET QUOTES GUIDELINES
- Must have actually been said in #HF or an HF channel (#HF-RP, #General_Staff, etc.).
- Must have a date attached to the quote (day it was said so we can reference it)
- Does NOT have to be submitted by the person that says it. Anyone can submit anyone's quote. So you might want to always have your e-mail
open.
- Does NOT have to permission by the person that said it or parties involved in the quote.
- Limit will be placed on the number of jokes about a certain former HF member whom shall not be named on mass media (The definition of
'limit' is pending).
Those are the guidelines. To be eligible for a Medal of Darkness you must submit five (5) Funny UnderNet Quotes. If you submit quotes for
the sake of submitting quotes then they won't count. The Executive Officer (ME!) will deem if they are funny or not. You will not know if
they have been accepted or not until the publication of the DL for that month.

CURRENTLY RUNNING
Operation Cleansing Fire (http://hfxo.fantasy-arts.net/op-cf)
The wars between the New Republic and Imperial Remnant are over. Peace has finally come to the galaxy after nearly a half century of
fighting. But on the edge of the Tingel Arm and Corporate Sector a new threat is emerging, the face of which is Nom Anor and the Red
Knights of Life. This new threat is of grave concern to the Republic, having dispatched Princess Leia Organa Solo to the resolve a conflict
between the planets of Rhommamool and Osarian. On the other side of the galaxy, however, in the Outer Rim Territories, Anor is of little
concern.
Within the borders of the Emperor's Hammer a different threat is appearing in the form of the Black Fist, led by a mysterious unknown.
Already the Hammer's Fist Stormtrooper Legion have clashed with the Black Fist on Carrida II, dealing them a minor, but serious blow. But
already new terrorist cells are appearing on Imperial controlled planets.
The Prefect of the Legion, Lieutenant General Keth D'Jek, has dispatched Vengeance and Redemption Platoons to the planet Thor to
investigate a possible cell attack in Operation: Cleansing Fire. What they will find is a plot that ties the two ends of the galaxy
together in a tangled web of deceit and deception to destroy the New Republic... and the Emperor's Hammer.
